Thank you for considering Crazy-carpets.co.uk. We want you to be delighted with your new floor and to help your purchase go as smoothly as possible we have produced the following guide so you will know exactly what to expect from us.

Price Beater Policy
Crazy-carpets.co.uk guarantee that you will not find any of the products displayed on this site at a lower price anywhere in Britain.
In the unlikely event that you do find exactly the same goods on offer at a lower price, simply provide us with a written quotation or advertisement from the competing retailer and we will refund 110% of the difference! This guarantee does not cover carpet remnants, imperfect stock or "free offers".

Minimum Order Value
Crazy-carpets.co.uk minimum order value is currently £200. Having a minimum order value ensures the continuity of the high levels of service that our customers receive. If your order is under £200, then please contact us and we will be happy to see if we can help in any way to fulfill your order.

Payment by credit or debit card
Payment using a debit card or credit card is required at the time of order. Payment is made via Secure Trading, one of the most secure payment methods on the Internet today. Crazy-carpets.co.uk will automatically acknowledge your order via e-mail. If, for any reason, your goods have not been dispatched within 30 days of your order being placed you have the option to cancel you order and receive a full refund.

Paying by cheque
You can also pay by cheque. Please make cheques payable to Crazy-carpets.co.uk. send them to Floorite GB Ltd, Crazy Carpets, 550-554 Stoney Stanton Road, Coventry, CV6 - 5FS. You will need to allow 7 days for your cheque to clear before your carpets will be dispatched.

Cancellations and returns policy
If for some reason you need to cancel your order before delivery please let us know as soon as possible. If the goods have not been dispatched we will cancel your order and refund payment to your credit card.
If the goods have already been dispatched we may be able to cancel the delivery, however, you will still have incurred the delivery charge. The balance of the account minus the delivery charge will be refunded.
If you have received the goods and wish to return them then this can be arranged provided that you pay the return shipping costs. The balance of your account minus the shipping costs will be refunded once we have received the goods back in good condition. (The return shipping costs will be the same as your original delivery charge.)
If have purchased using credit the delivery / shipping charges will need to be paid separately if your agreement is to be cancelled.
The goods must not have been cut into and should be wrapped. If you wish to return a product, please inform us by e-mail or call on 024 76686728 within 28 days of delivery.
We regret that we cannot accept returns once the carpet has been cut into or used in any other way.

Your Guarantees
Crazy-carpets.co.uk want you to be totally satisfied with your carpets. That's why we give a 12-month guarantee against any manufacturing defect on all carpets that we sell.

It is unlikely that you will experience a problem. If, however, a defect becomes apparent within the first 12 months after delivery Crazy-carpets.co.uk will rectify the problem.

Most manufacturing defects can be solved easily without putting you through the inconvenience of a replacement. Crazy-carpets.co.uk will therefore arrange to carry out any necessary remedial work. If your carpet cannot be brought fully up to standard we will replace the goods that are subject to complaint.

Please inspect your carpet upon arrival and before fitting.
In the unlikely event that your goods are faulted on arrival please let us know within 28 days of delivery. Your carpet can then be returned for either a full refund or replacement.

For your concerns to be resolved we sometimes require the benefit of an inspection. We therefore reserve the right to have the carpet inspected by a manufacturer's representative before work can be carried out.

All Crazy-carpets.co.uk carpets are guaranteed when fitted in accordance with British Standards B.S.5325 in the correct domestic location and when properly maintained. Any visual fault must be reported within 28 days.

Shading and The Effects of Normal Use
In common with all pile fabrics, (such as velvet), carpets may shade. This occurs when the pile is brushed or lies in different directions and therefore reflects light differently. The extent to which your carpet will show the effects of shading depends upon its construction, design and use. Deep pile carpets, such as Saxonys, for example will probably show your footprints and this is a shading effect. This is not a manufacturing defect and will not affect the wear life of your carpet.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee against the effects of normal use. Pile will flatten more quickly in areas of heavier use, particularly in walkways and in front of chairs. In some carpets this will be more noticeable than others. This is not a fault and will not affect the wearability of your carpet.

Fading
All carpets will fade over time. You can dramatically reduce fading by keeping the carpet out of direct sunlight as much as possible. Fading is not a product fault. You can also reduce fading by having your carpet treated with Carpet Guard, which contains an ultra violet filter.

Colour
A great deal of effort has been made to ensure the colours of carpets shown in photography on this site are as accurate as possible. Each colour has been carefully matched to its appearance in natural daylight. However, colours may well appear slightly different on your monitor and different again under the lighting conditions in your home. We therefore recommend that you take advantage of our free sample service to give you an accurate representation of the actual colour (this is also very useful when choosing other things to match!).

Dye batches also vary and therefore it may be possible that your carpet does vary very slightly from the sample. It is however very rare that this difference is significant enough to cause a problem.

Size Tolerance
All sizes quoted are approximate. Very slight variations are unavoidable and a tolerance of plus or minus ½" (1.25cm) is allowable in accordance with clause 3 of British Standard 3655 of 1981.
